Robinson was the first pick in the 1987 NBA draft, and following his service in the United States Navy, led the San Antonio Spurs to 2 NBA championships while winning a Rookie of the Year award, an MVP award, a scoring title, and being selected to 10 All-Star teams, as well as playing for 3 U.S. Olympic basketball teams.
Robinson was named among the 50 greatest players in NBA history.
